Water tank/cooler
combination for computer or other use I made this water tank/cooler
combo for the cool plate project because there isn't any space for the
both. I actually do not know how much it can transfer heat but I hope it
can enough :) It's also designed so that you can see water flowing from
the taller tube down making it a small fountain. This is made out of 1.5mm
copper plate, 2mm Plexiglas and 8mm copper tube. Copper parts are welded
together and plexi parts are glued with silicone to the copper.
EDIT: It does transfer heat but not enough and fast enough.
This is the same way I made blocks. First outline the shape, cut it off
and bend it.
Shape cutted out of the bigger sheet of copper.

This is after I welded it and tested it for leaks. (It passed)

Holes drilled, tubes added and welded

The back wall where I soldered the tubes that air should flow thru and
the fins are coming on the other side that are in the water. This pictures
shows also how much flux there was. Minus the percentage that vaporized.

Same wall polished with dremel.

Here the back wall is soldered to the cup and you also can see the fins
and ready for plexi parts.

Plexi glass parts are glued with silicone to the copper. The tube is
made out of plexi cigar tube and its cap.
